PRIVATE TOURS
We are happy to offer private tours of the farm. Come meet the Llamas and the Donkeys, learn a bit about the workings of a farm, and take a Llama for a walk. You will learn a little Llama 101, ask questions, and take photos. You might even get a gentle nose kiss. Please dress appropriately - open toed shoes/flip flops and heels are not permitted. Reservations are required - E mail info@maplehillfarms to request a date and time and be sure to advise the number of guests. Rates are $45.00 per person.
ABOUT US
Philip & Larry had spent the past 25 years weekending in the Berkshires and moved up on a full time basis some 10 years ago. Partners in life and business, they have run a successful Llama breeding and showing operation and have bred a number of prize winning Dressage horses as well.

FounderPhilip grew up in the manufacturing environment and from there, moved to Real Estate in Manhattan. Additionally, he has served/serves on numerous committees within the Llama community and travels the US and Europe working as a Llama judge.

FounderLarry is currently retired after having worked out of NYC in the garment industry as the National Sales Manager of a line of women's wear manufactured in Italy. They are also home to two chocolate labs - Memphis & Spencer, and a handful of chickens including Rudy the rooster.
ABOUT THE FARM
Maple Hill Farm is located on the NY/MA border with a total of 40 acres and is set up as a working Llama breeding farm. The farm is located just 2.5 hours north of Manhattan and is accessible via Amtrak to Albany located 45 minutes to the East or via Metro North to Wassaic, NY one hour south. The bucolic setting boasts two ponds, frontage on both sides of the Kinderhook Creek, a stocked trout stream, a caretakers apartment, four barns, numerous out buildings and miles of three board fencing. The property is just a six minute drive to Jiminy Peak and some of the Berkshires best skiing. In the summer, the world renowned Williamstown Theater Festival is only a 20 minute drive from the farm, Lenox Ma., and Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra is a 30 minute drive away. Jacobs Pillow and the Stockbridge Theatre Festival are a 45 minute drive from the farm.
